3 Reasons You Need Flowers For Your Next Photo Shoot

When Shillawna Ruffner asked me to make a bouquet for an engagement photo shoot, I happily agreed. I have made a few flower crowns for photo shoots but I began to wonder why more people don’t ask for bouquets for photo shoots.  So, today I have 3 reasons why flowers make everything better!

Flowers make the moment feel special.

We think of flowers being a part of special events. Weddings, parties, birthdays… Why not photo shoots?

They give your hands something to do.

Do you ever feel awkward in photos, not knowing how to stand or what to do with your hands?  A good photographer will help with that but so will a bouquet!

They are pretty!

And of course, flowers are pretty.  Flowers are another accessory to compliment your overall look.

A bonus reason for brides-to-be… Adding a bouquet to your engagement photos is a great way to tie into your wedding aesthetic.  You may want to save the special bouquet for your wedding day but this is a good time to use some of the elements from your bridal bouquet and tie the two sets of photos together.

Thank you to Shillawna Ruffler Photography for these beautiful images!  You can learn more about Shillawna here.

Would you consider a bouquet for your next photo shoot?
