A Colorful Summer Wedding

August is one of the prime months for flowers. EVERYTHING is blooming in a riot of color. When Megan said she wanted colorful flowers for her early August wedding to contrast against light blue dresses, I was ready.

We picked up the light blue of the bridesmaid dresses with the periwinkle delphinium and added just about every color except red to set it off!

The ceremony was held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in downtown Evansville. St. Mary’s is a beautiful church on it’s own but in the spirit of social distancing, we added some decor for safety reasons.

Guests were given assigned pews at the ceremony to be able to safely group families together.

Pews were marked with signs by Bailey Marie Studio, coordinating ribbon, and simple greenery.

The reception was held at Evansville Country Club.

We had four different types of centerpieces for the space.

We also added touches to the cocktail hour area with bud vases and lanterns.

Do you have a favorite from this wedding? A certain centerpiece or flower?

Congratulations Megan and Kyle! Best wishes to you both as you start this new journey together!
