One of the best things about the downtown venue, City View, is that it works with many design styles. I loved Jessi’s rustic touches and the laid back feeling of the day.
Jessi was more chill on her wedding day than almost any bride that I have met. Both her, the wedding party, and families, were smiling all morning. It helped that DayLily Events was there to keep the day running smoothly but it also speaks to their personalities.
Jessi requested that we use sunflowers and it was a nice change because I haven’t had a chance to incorporate them into a wedding lately. It was the perfect touch for a wedding on the first day of summer, too!
The ceremony and reception were both held at City View at Sterling Square.
I failed to get great photos of the ceremony space so I am hoping for more to share later but you can see the beautiful arch the bride’s stepfather built that we attached two sprays of flowers to.
We used vases from the couple for centerpieces. I loved the wood frames in the room and how they blended with the chairs and accented with the raspberry tablecloths and with the rose gold votive candle holders.
Sunflowers are a quinessential summer flower and they paired beautifully with the raspberry tones. Do you like this warm color palette?
Congratulations to Jessi and Frank! Thank you for including me in a small part of your day. Best wishes to you both!
