When you think of fall colors, you most likely think of deep, muted reds, oranges, and yellows. Our bride and groom wanted bright fall colors, along with blue, for their October wedding. We think the result looked great. The bridal bouquet was filled with blue hydrangea and thistle, orange roses and alstromeria lilies, yellow solidaster, green hypericum berries, and a
We were honored to provide the decor for the Hangers Gala at St. Mary's Manor last month. Hangers, formerly known as the EVSC PTA Clothing Bank, helps to clothe thousands of students in the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation. Hangers volunteers help students shop in their department-store like setting for everything from the basics of socks and underwear, to
I have to admit that last month's wedding at The Granary in New Harmony was one of my favorites to design. The bride told me that her theme was rustic, folk elegance and she wanted a lot of texture. It's a joy to design a wedding for such a fun and thoughtful couple. Pops of yellow among the white and gray and a request for sunflowers made this a modern country event to remember. This wedding took a village. Friends and family helped install many of the vignettes to personalize the design. Both the wedding and reception were held at Kokie's Echo
This September wedding was designed around a rustic, vineyard theme with a plethora of beautiful texture. Bouquets and urns, placed at the church, were filled with roses, gerber daisies, astilbe, hypericum berries, seeded eucalyptus, and wood accents. Boutonnieres were made with spray roses and hypericum berries and placed in a wine cork to further the vineyard
We were honored to provide flowers for the 2015 Mayor's Arts Awards sponsored by the Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana last month. The event was held at the gorgeous Victory Theatre in downtown Evansville. Guests congregated in the lobby where artists were displaying both the process and products of their work before moving to the stage. Guests moved
It is my goal for this space to highlight the events we design, share ideas of designs we are excited about implementing, and detail our flower farming dreams. Thank you for following along!
