Personal touches make a wedding so special. This wedding was full of details unique to the bride and groom, bright colors, and it was so much fun!
I usually start blog posts with the personal flowers (bouquets, boutonnieres, etc.). The personal flowers were wonderful but the reception was the most unique part of this wedding.
The bride has an English degree and the groom is a science teacher so we filled beakers with flowers and stacked them on classic books on half of the tables. It was a fun touch perfect for this couple.
The other tables had arrangements set on classic board games.
The bride tied everything together with these Scrabble themed favors and Mad Libs at each place setting.
Let’s talk about the flowers! Bright and fun! We used peonies, snapdragons, spray roses, thistle, solidago, wax flower, ruscus, salal, and eucalyptus.
The ceremony was at Neu Chapel. We created three arrangements for the altar table. The benefit of doing this rather than making one large altar arrangement is that these could easily be repurposed to use at the reception.
And now for the personal flowers…
We used the same bright colors for the ceremony but substituted the yellow from the reception for a more formal white. White lisianthus always shine in a bouquet.
Congratulations Amanda and Drew! Thank you for trusting us with part of your special day. We wish you all of the best!
