Saturday was my final wedding of the 2019 season and a great way to finish. I usually limit myself to events within a one hour radius of Evansville but I was willing to venture a little further to see this beautiful venue in Crofton, Kentucky.
Burdoc Farms is a barn style venue with a beautiful wall of windows overlooking a lake and the Kentucky countryside. The original plan was to have the ceremony outside but the cool weather led us to the cozy, and still beautiful, indoor space.
The bride wore a gorgeous bohemian style dress and the bridesmaids wore dresses made of flowing off-white fabric. We used neutral blushes, whites, and mauves, but also pulled in a little blue and burgundy fall tones.
The protea definitely stole the flower show but we also paired them with roses, thistle, and other accent flowers. Locally grown dried flowers and grasses made the design feel very seasonal.
The ceremony arch was accented with flowers and a beautiful macrame hanging.
The head table was opposite the ceremony arch, backed by a stone fireplace. I loved their velvet chairs!
The venue has lovely wood tables and chairs so we just accented them with a cheese cloth runner and had three designs on guest tables.
Congratulations to Danielle and Cameron! Thank you for being the perfect ending to my wedding season!
