Our first flower bar was this past Saturday and it was very successful!
Everyone enjoyed themselves, which is what it was all about. It was a time for fun, creativity, and celebrating the beauty around us.
I am grateful for Amber and Josh who opened up their store, Sweet Emotions, to us.
Amber offers a farm to skin class every Saturday and said it perfectly, “It’s about so much more than a DIY skincare class for me….and when you experience it, look around our table each Saturday morning…you know that. It’s about community, creativity, and just “good” in this crazy world. Coming together around our table for just “good”.”
It was nice to meet new people and visit with friends. (Like Brandie who took these great photos!) Whenever you try something new, you always learn a few things. I will tweak a few details for the next flower bar but know that there will be another one!
Floral design is a second career for me. I taught for 10 years. I loved it but wanted more flexibility. I’m really looking forward to the opportunity to combine the two. If you would be interested in hosting a class or a flower bar as a private party, in your work space, or if you know of a business who would be interested in a pop-up flower bar like Saturday’s event, please let me know! I want you to experience more flowers!
Thank you to everyone who came out!
