Audubon State Park in Henderson, KY is such a beautiful venue.  We had a wedding there last year as well.  Some may think a designer would tire of designing the same venues but it’s fun to recreate each unique event.  This September wedding was full of beautiful color!

The ceremony was held under a tent on the museum grounds.  Guests moved to the museum patio for a cocktail hour while the tent was reset for dinner and dancing.

Cones bursting with flowers were tied to aisle chairs and a flowered arch framed where the couple would stand.

The local zinnias really shined at this event! The solidago, celosia, and dahlias were local as well.  We love supporting local flower farmers!

The fun colors reflected the fun reception.  A fantastic live band and beer custom brewed by the couple were details that set this wedding apart from others.

Two types of arrangements were on display at the reception. These glass cube vases overflowing with flowers and greenery were set on long tables.

The couples growlers (peeking out from behind the flowers), filled with copper fairy lights, provided a warm glow on the tables as the sun began to set.

Round tables were set with three of our large bud vases and the couple’s lighted growlers. We also repurposed the flower cones from the ceremony by hanging them on the chairs of special guests.
