Rebekah and Coltin’s wedding was simple yet detailed and vintage yet modern. The ceremony and reception were at Preservation Hall in downtown Newburgh. The building is full of the old world charm Newburgh is known for but its simplistic nature lends a touch of modernity.
Guests set at tables with simple greenery garlands and candles.
The ceremony took place in front of vintage doors from Salvage Candy, which I added greenery to. The backdrop was moved later and the wedding party sat at the head table behind the ceremony area.
This wedding used a combination of true green foliage and blue-green foliages–two types of both ruscus and eucalyptus.
Large pots filled with greenery and curly willow branches also dressed up the space.
A touch of the fall palette was seen in the aisle decor.
The wedding cake turned out perfectly. The blue thistle flowers worked perfectly with the navy table cloth and the peach roses and carnations were a beautiful accent to the naked cake.
Rebekah’s bouquet was full of fall color and texture.
The bridesmaid bouquets echoed the look of the bridal bouquet.
The mothers’ cuff bracelets were simple, modern, and full of texture.
The two flower girls wore headbands with a touch of blue to coordinate with the navy dresses that the bridesmaids wore.
The couple’s dog was also an important part of the day! She wore this floral collar which I was told worked well. I can’t wait to see those photos!
Thank you Rebekah and Coltin for asking us to be a part of your day. We wish you all the best!
