Now Hiring!!!

I am looking for part-time help at Emerald Design. I would ideally hire one person but could break the job into two positions, depending on the interest. The applicant would work 5-10 hours per week. Hours are very flexible. This job will be for the entire year, although hours may be reduced in January and early February. Pay will begin at $12/hour.

Applicants do not need flower knowledge. (That can be taught.) Although, I would like some one with a good attitude, who works hard, and can take the initiative to do what needs to be done. (These qualities are hard to teach.)

Applicants must be over 18 and hold a valid drivers license. Emerald Design does not discriminate due to gender, race, religion, or sexual orientation.

I am breaking this into design and farm duties, but there may be overlap.

Design Postion Duties

*Assist with processing flowers for events and deliveries

*Assist with set up and tear down for events (must be available on some Saturdays)

*General cleaning of buckets, vases, tools, etc.

*Able to deliver arrangements in own vehicle

*Assist with some design work

Farm Position Duties (at Farm 57)

*Seed starting and planting

*Weeding, some pruning and mulching

*Harvesting

*General cleaning of buckets, vases, tools, etc.

*Able to deliver arrangements in own vehicle

*Assist with some design work

hydrangea, sunflowers, and black eyed susans
