Yesterday’s post mentioned predictions for the new year. I read many design and wedding blogs and several have predicted that the rustic trend will continue in 2016 but with more elegance and less of a country style. Wood tones are very popular right now. Will wood containers replace mason jars? Only time will tell.
These arrangements were created for Maria Scott Events and their booth at Sunday’s Courier and Press Wedding and Prom Expo. Soft colors and the foraged, loose style of floral design is definitely trending.
These arrangements are created with white hydrangea, stock, and lisianthus, peach roses and hypericum berries, soft green seeded eucalyptus, and contrasting green hypericum berries, cedar, and tree fern.
Cedar is thought of as a winter greenery but the other flowers used here are available year round. We can also help you choose seasonal flowers to add into a similar combination.
Our wooden cigar boxes, seen here, continue to be one of our most popular choices by brides.
This style would work at any location but would be especially beautiful in a rustic or outdoor venue.
What do you think of this look?
