I am often asked if I have a favorite flower. I have a lot of favorites. In spring, peonies are one of my favorites. This wedding incorporated four varieties of pink peonies–from blush to hot pink. 180 total! All were grown locally at a farm in New Harmony, Indiana. The peonies mixed with roses, tulips, stock, wax flower, carnations, and greenery for a garden style and fragrantly perfumed wedding and reception at Rolling Hills Country Club in Newburgh.
Our gold footed compotes are perfect for centerpieces. They elevate the flowers just enough to allow more space for table settings. The pinks played beautifully with the gold here and the white flowers tied into the white table cloths.
We also used our vintage brass containers at this wedding, although I didn’t get many photos of those!
Tall arrangements were scattered around the room and act like exclamation points.
A gold table runner on the head table coordinated with the gold bridesmaid dresses. Pink napkins drew from the flowers’ colors. The bride is a graphic designer and created beautiful menus for each plate which we added a sprig of greenery to.
Flowers were added to a welcome sign and a seating chart. Just enough to add attention but still show off the beautiful frame.
The couple had beautiful weather for their outdoor ceremony.
Beautiful day and beautiful space. We were happy to be a small part of it. Congratulations Mackenzie and Austin!
