Blush has been trending in wedding design for several years. It is often paired with white, pink, or for contrast, burgundy. I have noticed a shift to warmer pairings more recently and was happy to mix the blush tones with peaches and corals for this wedding at City View.
Carrie and Charles’ original April wedding design was centered around coral peonies and mixed with blush pink spring tulips. For their rescheduled August date, the plan had to change some but I think these warm tones feel even more appropriate in August.
The floral design featured locally grown dahlias, sedum, zinnias, tuberose, and celosia, as well as roses, sprays roses, and several varieties of foliage.
Carrie and Charles’ ceremony was held on the second level at City View. We created a backdrop which is just enough for this beautiful room.
The reception was held on the main level. Tables had three coordinating centerpieces.
Do you like this shift to warmer toned pastels? Based on social media responses, I think so! This is one of the most liked weddings I have posted!
Congratulations Carrie and Charles! I wish you both all the best!
